Biography

With over 20 years of dedicated experience, Priya Gangwani, PT, DPT, NCS, is a board-certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy, specializing in treating patients with a range of neurological conditions. Her special areas of clinical expertise include:

Priya is certified in the LSVT BIG program for Parkinson’s Disease and has extensive experience treating conditions such as stroke, neuropathy, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and multiple sclerosis. She adopts a holistic approach to care, emphasizing the importance of relaxation techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy to achieve optimal outcomes for her patients.

In addition to her clinical work, Priya serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Physical Therapy Department at the IU School of Health and Human Sciences, where she nurtures her passion for teaching. She is well-versed in advanced technologies, including robotics, at the IU Neurorehabilitation and Robotics Program.

A strong advocate for evidence-based practice, Priya is committed to delivering the highest quality of care to her patients. As a first-generation immigrant, she is particularly passionate about providing empathetic and equitable service to all her patients. Outside of her clinical responsibilities, she runs a nonprofit organization (Grassroot Projects) dedicated to offering low-barrier resources to immigrant and refugee children.
