Biography

Dr. Ryan A. Kabir, MD, is trained and board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology and echocardiography. He also carries expertise in structural heart procedures, nuclear cardiology and cardiac/coronary CT.

Dr. Kabir has a wife and two children, a son and a daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys personal fitness and nutrition, cycling and watching sports. He also enjoys fine dining and exploring new restaurants with his family.

Dr. Kabir is an interventional cardiologist with IU Health. Dr. Kabir received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) national medical honor society. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. After residency, he completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Georgetown University/Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He then completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA.
