Biography
Dr. Sanjay P. Tripathi, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. He graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India and has served as Chief Resident at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA and at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was also the Fellow and Associate Attending Surgeon at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and the Medical Director for Robotic and Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery at Advent Health Porter in Denver, CO.
Dr. Tripathi is recognized for his expertise in robotic cardiac surgery, including complex procedures like robotic mitral and tricuspid valve repair and robotic Cryo Maze for atrial fibrillation.
He pioneered the Structural Heart Program for TAVR and Mitra clip at Swedish Medical Center and has extensive experience in minimally invasive techniques for cardiac, thoracic and vascular conditions.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Tripathi enjoys being outside, skiing, cycling and hiking. He and his wife are both outdoor enthusiasts who like to take trips where they can enjoy the great outdoors.
