Biography
Dr. Shannon S. Dillon, MD, chose to go into pediatrics because she believes strongly in the value of preventive care to help all children live up to their fullest potential. Her goal is not only to educate parents to understand what is going on with their child, but to show them how to manage it at home and, more importantly, how they can prevent it. She believes in creating a treatment plan that is evidence-based and tailored to your child. She is a strong advocate for the importance of immunizations, and Dillon believes that keeping up with scheduled immunizations is one of the single most vital things we can do as parents to ensure the health of our children.
Dillon earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. She has been in practice since 2007 and recently relocated back to the Midwest to be closer to family. In her free time, you will mainly find her watching her two teenagers' activities, running on the Rail Trail, gardening, skiing, or relaxing with a good book.
