Biography

Dr. Thomas C. Witt, MD strives to provide the best care possible in a respectful and compassionate manner. His hope is to reverse, lessen or prevent the devastating impact a neurological issue can have on a person’s life. Dr. Witt is a board certified neurosurgeon and has practiced at IU Health since 1988.

He has been a faculty member of Indiana University School of Medicine since 1995. Outside of practicing medicine, he enjoys the outdoors, sports and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. Witt received his medical degree from the University of California Davis School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Indiana University in neurosurgery. He completed a fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Witt is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

The doctor was pretty much on time and he took time and answered all my questions and he answered my sister-in-law who's with me answered her question. And then asked if I had any other questions to please call his office. Okay.

While I understand that how busy the doctors are, scheduling as far as three months, to six months out is very difficult when you have an ailment that needs taking care of.
