IU Health on nice list as Santa recovers from essential tremor procedure

“Santa” Bob Gudorf has been bringing Christmas cheer to children across Indiana for more than a decade. A few years ago, parents began noticing his hands shaking as their children sat on his lap. Doctors later diagnosed Bob with essential tremor.

This year, ahead of the busy holiday season, Bob came to IU Health for a focused ultrasound procedure — a no‑incision treatment designed to steady his hands so he can keep doing what he loves most.
