Can't find a vein? Call a vascular access nurse

Melissa Latta is a vascular access nurse at IU Health West Hospital. When there's a hard-to-find vein, she's the one to call. "We are a team of nurses that focus on the insertion of PICC lines and midlines, but because we're based in-house, we're also able to support other nurses with blood draws, arterial lines and regular peripheral lines."
