Heart failure nurse navigator, cardiogenic shock manager retires

Sheri Chupp is a nurse who has spent the last 34 years caring for patients in a variety of roles. She pioneered the nurse navigator role for heart failure patients at Methodist Hospital and oversaw the hospital's cardiogenic shock program. She's now retiring to spend more time with her family and in her garden. Sheri is confident the professional bricks she laid will continue to benefit patients well into the future. "I've had a very fulfilling career. The nurse navigator role will live on. It has to because it's just so important for patients, and the cardiogenic shock program is just going to continue to improve and be as excellent as it is now."
