Living Kidney Donation

When Steve Naldi learned he needed a kidney transplant, his husband Ray didn’t hesitate to become a living donor. “As soon as I learned we were a match I knew I would do it. I’m giving a piece of myself to someone who already has my heart so this is just one more thing,” said Ray. “Even if we weren’t a match I was ready to do a shared kidney donation where I would donate to someone else and that patient’s donor would donate to Steve.”
