Nurse spotlight: Courtney Leisch

Courtney Leisch is a registered nurse who works as a case manager on Methodist Hospital's medical surgical trauma floor. It's her job to ensure patients are discharged from the hospital in the safest, most efficient way possible. "It's a thousand piece puzzle to make sure everyone has a safe discharge. I'm talking constantly with everyone on the patient's care team from their doctors to their nurses, therapists, dietitians, and working with insurance. Getting to see people leave the hospital is so rewarding."
