Nurse spotlight: Lizmarie Tuason

Lizmarie Tuason, originally from the Philippines, moved to the United States last year when her husband took a nursing job at IU Health. Not long after that Lizmarie decided to continue her nursing career at the same hospital. "When we got settled here I saw online that IU Health had more nursing opportunities so I tried my luck and they hired me," said Lizmarie, who cares for patients on University Hospital's largest inpatient unit. "Since I was young, caring for other people has been my passion. Nursing paved the way to get the opportunity to help others. Nursing is a noble profession."
