Nurse spotlight: Lydia Stout

Lydia Stout is a nurse on one of Methodist Hospital's medical surgical units. She spent a lot of time on this unit as a volunteer and then a patient care assistant before becoming a nurse. "Being able to send people out the door in better shape than when they came in is rewarding. It makes us feel like we're doing something to better someone's life. We're not just here for fun. Our jobs really matter to people's lives."
