Nurse spotlight: Sharon Naatz

Sharon Naatz is a nurse at University Hospital, caring for radiation medicine patients. Earlier this year, her husband was diagnosed with cancer, and Sharon is deeply grateful for the way her colleagues supported him and their family throughout his treatment.

“All the staff here was wonderful to him and to both of us. That experience also gave me a different perspective on what patients go through, and I have so much empathy toward them… they’re all warriors.”
