Team spotlight: Camara Singleton, occupational therapy

It was a youth softball injury that led Camara Singleton down the road to becoming an occupational therapist. “I was hit with a bat really hard right on the elbow and I went to the hospital and thought that I was possibly going to need some therapy. That’s how I found out about [occupational therapy],” said Camara. “Later my mom, who was a nurse, was able to get me volunteering jobs at her hospital and I just fell in love with it.”
