Team spotlight: Lilly Bosanquet

Lilly Bosanquet is a surgical technologist (surg tech) at Methodist Hospital focused primarily on the neurosurgery unit. During surgery, it's her job to prepare and maintain the sterile field and assist the surgeon by passing them any equipment or supplies they might need in a sterile manner. "It's rewarding to assist during stressful operations, but also to be that advocate for the patient. As a surg tech you are one of the last lines of defense if it comes to something dangerous happening or contamination on the sterile field."
