Trauma patient delivers ceremonial green flag to Indy 500 start line

Chris Arvin and his wife experienced the thrill of a lifetime this weekend- delivering the green flag to the start line of this year's Indianapolis 500. It was an honor well deserved for Chris who, in the fall of 2024, lost his leg in a motorcycle accident. "If I can share my story and people get inspired by it then it's good," said Chris. "It's been a long road, but I never would have dreamed anything like [delivering the green flag] would happen to me. I'm just beyond excited."
