Trauma survivor throws ceremonial first pitch at Indianapolis Indians game

Trauma survivor, Erica Buck waved to the crowd at Victory Field in Indianapolis as she walked to the pitcher's mound for the ceremonial first pitch. Three years prior, Erica wouldn't have even been able to put on her shoes as she worked to recover, physically and emotionally, from a stabbing and attempted rape that nearly took her life. "My actual recovery and acceptance of this trauma has taken quite a while... but I look at these scars now and I know I'm much stronger than where I was before," said Erica who hopes other trauma survivors can feel the same.
