Donald McDavid was cooking barbeque at a football game when he heard about his friend's recent heart attack. He processed it as a cautionary tale and decided to get a $49 heart scan for himself. Good thing he did. "I asked my friend what his issue was and he said he felt an occasional twitch in his chest before his big heart event. I thought, that's kind of funny because I have a little twitch, too," said Donald. "I went and got the scan done. It's not painful. It's not invasive and it's quick. I got a call on my way home and the lady said my calcium score was really high. I started laughing and said I guess we need to get a good doctor and get this fixed."
