From the moment you arrive at IU Health Advanced Heart & Lung Care, you’ll be welcomed by our front office team.

Our job is to help you understand what to expect during your visit and what steps you need to take after. A medical assistant will review your current medications, take your vitals and perform any testing needed to evaluate your health.

You will then meet your specialist, who will ask you a number of questions and assess your health. You may discuss treatment options at that time and how they will work with your long-term care plan. Your nurse will then complete the visit by providing more education on procedures, scheduling any additional appointments before you leave the exam room, and ensure that you are confident in your individualized care plan.

Our goal is to build a supportive relationship with you to ensure you’re receiving care that’s right for you.
