Our Center is part of the IU Health Cancer Centers, which partners with Indiana University School of Medicine. IU Health researchers and scientists are involved in clinical trials to better understand how to prevent, diagnose and treat cancers. As an academic medical center, we combine education, research and clinical trials to give you highly skilled and quality care that other hospitals don't have available. If you’d like to join one of our clinical trials, talk with your doctor.

When you first arrive for your appointment, our staff will welcome you. We’ll review your information and confirm your insurance.
Once in the exam room, a medical assistant will update your health history and ask general questions about allergies and medications. Next, your doctor will do a physical exam and talk about your symptoms and test results. They will explain possible treatment options and address your concerns. Additional testing and lab tests may be needed before starting treatment.
Preparing for your visit
The following tips will make your visits as stress-free as possible:
- Have your doctor send medical records to us before your visit or bring the information yourself
- Bring insurance card(s) and identification
- Bring a list of current medications, including over-the-counter medicines
- Bring any imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT or MRI, bring them with you
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment
