From your first phone call, through follow-up care, and everything in between, we want you to feel trust, empathy and respect.

Preparing for Your Visit

We ask that you bring the following with you to your appointment:

  • A list of your medications
  • Your insurance card(s) and identification

Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete any registration paperwork.

Parking

Parking at IU Health West Hospital is free. Our parking lots and entrances are conveniently located to help patients and visitors get to their destinations quickly. Free valet parking is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm at the hospital’s main entrance. No tipping is permitted.

Patients may be dropped off or picked up at the main entrance of the hospital (accessible from West 10th St.) or as directed on the pre-visit information from your doctor’s office.

The IU Health West Hospital staff at the Welcome Desk (just inside the main entrance) are happy answer any questions. Wheelchairs are available.

We provide a variety of nutritious dining options available for patients, families and guests at IU Health West Hospital. The Garden Café offers a full selection of meals, featuring healthy options. It’s located on the Garden Level (“G” on all hospital elevators). Open Monday through Friday, from 6:45 am to 11:30 pm.

Open Saturday and Sunday, from 7 am to 2 pm.

Internet Services

We provide free Wi-Fi for you and your visitors. The wireless network is available 24/7 in all areas of our hospital. Please note that IU Health cannot provide technical help for your device or help you connect to the network.

Gift Shop

Our Gift Shop is located on the first floor of the hospital, just inside the main entrance. The gift shop has unique gifts for all ages, and provides a full selection of magazines, gifts, cards, flowers, snacks and drinks.

Open Monday through Friday, 7 am – 6 pm and Saturday, 8 am – 4 pm.
