Ahmed S. Ibrahim, MD

Dr. Ahmed S. Ibrahim, MD, is an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist with advanced training in head and neck cancer surgery, minimally invasive techniques and reconstructive surgery. He cares for patients with both routine and complex conditions, including thyroid and parotid disease, nasal and sinus problems, sleep disorders and cancers of the head and neck.

Dr. Ibrahim completed his medical degree, master’s, and PhD at Cairo University in Egypt, where his research focused on head and neck cancer surgery. He completed residency in otolaryngology at Northwestern University in Chicago and completed two fellowships in head and neck cancer and reconstructive surgery at Northwestern University and the University of Kansas.

Dr. Ibrahim also played a significant role in helping establish a specialized head and neck surgery unit at the National Cancer Institute in Egypt.

With experience in both traditional and minimally invasive approaches—including laser and robotic surgery—he is committed to providing the most effective and least invasive treatments possible. His main focus in practice is treatment related to quality-of-life outcome for patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Ibrahim enjoys playing tennis, reading, traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
