Biography

Dr. Erika L. Daley is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon specializing in:

• Cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders
• Pediatric orthopedic trauma
• Complex hip disorders
• Foot and ankle
• General pediatric orthopedic conditions

She attended medical school at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and residency at Oakland University William Beaumont. Following her fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Daley began practicing and joined Riley Children’s Health in 2021.

When going into medicine, Daley always knew that she wanted to work with children. The enthusiasm and energy of pediatric patients bring a joy to her life, and she feels privileged to get to take care of children each day. Once in medical school, she realized her love of working with her hands and gravitated towards orthopedic surgery. She values the diversity of patients she gets to treat every day, whether that be a trauma patient whom she treats briefly, or a patient with a neuromuscular disorder where she establishes a long-term relationship.

One of the most important aspects for Daley when meeting a patient for the first time is getting to know the child and family first. She will listen to your concerns about what has brought your child in. After learning more about the patient and family, she will review any images and conduct her assessment to educate the family and provide information to make the best decision as a team.

When not treating patients, she likes running, cycling, spending time with her husband, cooking, and trying new restaurants.
