Biography
Dr. Folasade O. Imeokparia, MD prides herself on delivering exceptional multi-disciplinary care for patients affected by breast diseases. She attended Cornell University where she received her undergraduate degree with honors. She then matriculated to The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where she earned her medical degree and completed her General Surgery residency. She has also completed an advanced fellowship in Breast Oncology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she also served as a clinical lecturer.
Dr. Imeokparia is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Imeokparia is an associate clerkship director in the Department of Surgery for Undergraduate Medical Education. She enjoys medical education tremendously. Dr. Imeokparia is a member of several societies including the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Association of Academic Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology and the Society of Black Academic Surgeons.
