Biography
Dr. Khushali S. Jhaveri, MD is an assistant professor of medicine at Indiana University, specializing in hematology/oncology with a focus on lymphoma. She completed her hematology/oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center, where she served as chief fellow for communication and wellness as well as a representative on the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC). She is actively involved in clinical research, with a special interest in CAR-T cell therapy, outcomes in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and the impact of sarcopenia on treatment outcomes.
Dr. Jhaveri has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, including studies on CAR-T cell therapy and systemic therapies for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, with her work frequently cited in leading journals such as Cancer Immunology Research and Blood Advances. Her research has been presented at national and international conferences, including the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). She has also contributed to book chapters in the third edition of the Handbook of Hematologic Malignancies.
In addition to her clinical and research activities, Dr. Jhaveri is passionate about medical journalism and has written articles on topics such as fertility preservation for cancer patients and the potential effects of climate change on public health for outlets like ABC News and Good Morning America.
