Biography
Kristen Anderson, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician with Riley Children’s Health. She received her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her pediatric residency at UnityPoint Health – Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Dr. Anderson started practicing medicine in 2020 and joined Riley Children’s in April 2024.
Dr. Anderson chose pediatric medicine because it combines her passion for science with her love for helping kids. In addition, she enjoys the aspect of developing relationships with families and watching children grow into unique personalities over time.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Anderson likes to travel, hike, scuba dive, craft, golf and spend time with her partner and dogs.
