Biography
Mike has been a physical therapist in the Indianapolis area since 1998. His clinical orthopedic practice focuses on the evidence-based treatment of operative and non-operative conditions of the spine and peripheral joints, including cervicogenic headaches and the TMJ. Mike has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1996 and the Orthopaedic Section since 2000. He has served as a past board member of the Indiana APTA. He has been an APTA board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) since 2004 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) since 2015 - trained in orthopedic manual therapy (joint mobilization/manipulation). Mike is an adjunct clinical faculty member with the Indiana University Department of Physical Therapy and volunteers in the Indiana University Student Outreach Clinic in downtown Indianapolis. He trains and mentors students at the entry-level doctorate and fellowship training levels and lectures on clinical reasoning. Additional clinical interests include treating athletes, especially track athletes, runners and multi-sport endurance athletes.
