Biography
Shannon N. Danhauer, PNP, has been practicing as a pediatric nurse practitioner with Riley Children’s Health since 2016. Passionate about the pediatric population, she began her career as a nurse and, eight years later, continued as an advanced practice provider with the same dedication. The transition to nurse practitioner was always a long-term goal of Danhauer’s as she’s someone who loves to learn and challenge herself, always stiving to grow.
She sees her work as a partnership where she can be on the same team as her patients, promoting health and wellness in their lives. Danhauer finds pediatrics to be special because it is a unique field that allows her to develop relationships with patients and families as she’s able to watch them grow up. She hopes that she can play a small part in helping each patient she sees to grow into happy and healthy adults.
When she’s not spending time with patients, Danhauer can be found spending time with her husband and her two little boys. She loves to cook, read, travel and spend as much time outside as she can.
