Biography
Wauneta G. Armstrong, NP, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in wound care management. She believes in providing honest, straightforward care, with a focus on nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
Armstrong was born and raised in rural Indiana, where she worked many different jobs. After witnessing the passing of her grandmother and the excellent care she received, Armstrong decided to pursue a career in nursing.
She began her nursing career at Ivy Tech, where she obtained her Licensed Practical Nurse certificate in 2000. She immediately returned to school to obtain her bachelor’s degree and graduated in 2010 and then again in 2019 with her master’s degree.
Armstrong obtained all her degrees while raising four kids and taking care of her mother. She lives on a small farm with many animals, including geese, ducks, goats, donkeys and too many barn cats. She loves working in the yard and tending to her ever-evolving flower garden. She also enjoys horseback riding and traveling when time allows.
