Enterprise Clinical Research Operations at IU Health Methodist Hospital manages the facilities and logistics of the Indiana Center for Biomedical Innovation (ICBI).
The ICBI houses startup companies that have developed on the basis of innovations from the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM). Funding and mentorship support the foundation of early-stage technologies and the transition from early innovation to commercialization.
The ICBI, located on the 5th floor of the Noyes Pavilion at IU Health Methodist Hospital, includes 8 laboratories with additional common research space that holds a walk-in cold room, a tissue culture room, a microscope room, a room for flow cytometry and 2 conference rooms.
Specialized equipment, microscopes and centrifuges are provided for the companies as well as separate dedicated office space that is located on the same floor as the laboratories.
