Orthopedic program coordinator in Lafayette is "mama bear" to joint replacement patients

Alexis Disinger's role at IU Health in Lafayette is to guide every joint replacement patient through the process from pre op to post op and everything in between. "I actually joke and say I'm kind of the mama bear. These are my babies, these are my patients and what we want is to see our patients get through this, to succeed and to be happy with their joint replacement."
