VAD team helps patient coordinate safe travel to Philippines for vow renewal

Annette Holloway and her husband were married at city hall in 2005. Since then their goal has been to have a big vow renewal ceremony in the Philippines, Annette's home country. In recent years heart failure led to Annette needing a life-sustaining left ventricular assist device (LVAD). This created some challenges for international travel and the couple's vow renewal goals, but IU Health's VAD team was determined to help make it happen.
