Dr. Hassanein is a Harvard University- and Johns Hopkins University-trained, board certified plastic surgeon.

He was born and raised in Illinois and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois. He completed medical school at the University of Illinois in 2005. Dr. Hassanein trained in plastic surgery at the Harvard plastic surgery program and completed an additional specialized reconstructive microsurgery and breast fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland.

I was treated with respect by Dr. Hassanein and his NP and they seem to understand the difficult choices I had to make and fully explained the pros and cons of each choice.
