Biography
Dr. Andrew McLaren truly enjoys all the types of patients he sees as a family medicine physician, but he has a special interest in pediatrics, sports medicine and dermatology. In addition, he is fluent in Spanish and enjoys caring for his Spanish-speaking patients.
When not in the office, Dr. McLaren enjoys backpacking, sports and playing the acoustic guitar. He and his wife have two sons.
Dr. McLaren studied chemistry at Ball State University before earning his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in family medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he was chief resident in his final year, followed by a fellowship in obstetrics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
