Biography
Dr. Prasad has been practicing family medicine since 2011. She specializes in preventative care to provide her patients with the highest quality of health. She chose this specialty because she enjoys forming partnerships with her patients through their healthcare journey. Outside of work, Dr. Prasad enjoys serving the community and traveling. Additionally, she is fluent in Hindi and Guajarati.
Dr. Prasad earned her medical degree from M.P. Shah Medical College in Jamnager, India; she went on to complete a family medicine residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. With a passion for education, she continues to pursue academics and research through precepting medical students, serving as a physician leader and being involved in quality improvements projects. Dr. Prasad is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a member of the American Medical Association.
