Biography
Dr. Jeffrey R. Ihlendorf, MD, has practiced medicine at IU Health Physicians Primary Care for more than six years. He selected internal medicine and pediatrics because these specialties allow him to provide care to patients throughout their life and to multiple generations of families.
Dr. Ihlendorf’s philosophy of care involves prevention and using an evidence-based approach to diagnosis and treatment. He also believes in educating patients to help them make the best decisions for their health.
In his free time, Dr. Ihlendorf enjoys bicycling, travel and working on his 100-year-old home. A diehard Notre Dame fan, Dr. Ihlendorf is married and has two young sons. Another interesting note: In addition to having an aquarium full of fish, the Ihlendorfs raise chickens in their backyard.
