Madolin Watson, NP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and medical weight management.
Education
Watson received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY, where she also played NCAA Division II Softball all four years. She then took a job at Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville, working in the inpatient pediatric hematology and oncology unit. Upon moving back to Bloomington, she worked at the IU Health Bloomington RAHC in the adult infusion center. While working, Watson continued her education and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University to become a family nurse practitioner. She completed her board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has worked with IU Health as a primary care NP since 2022.
What Madolin Watson treats
Watson cares for patients with both acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan, predominantly ages 18 years and older. She provides preventative healthcare and educates patients on age-related screenings with the goal of preventing chronic disease and improving patients’ overall quality of life.
Additionally, Watson specializes in medical weight management, providing medication options to promote weight loss for overweight and obese patients.
