Biography
Dr. Shah was heavily influenced by his neuroanatomy professor and research mentors, who helped ignite his passion for neurosurgery. His passion continues through teaching and treating patients as he would want to be treated. Dr. Shah is married with two children. When not practicing medicine, he enjoys golf, running, traveling, and watching collegiate and professional sports.
Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in neurological surgery at the University of Minnesota, followed by a fellowship in cranial base surgery at George Washington University. Dr. Shah is a board certified neurological surgeon, professor of neurological surgery and adjunct professor of otolaryngology at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he has taught since 1994.
