Biography
Travis Newman, FNP, is a dedicated family medicine nurse practitioner specializing in primary care. He has been practicing as an NP since 2014 and earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Ball State University.
Before entering the medical field, Travis served in the Air National Guard for 21 years, including two overseas deployments. His journey into healthcare is unique—originally pursuing architecture at Ball State, he felt a calling to nursing and made the switch after two years. He considers it one of the best decisions he’s ever made.
Travis is passionate about primary care because it allows him to build lasting relationships with patients. He strives to be a steady presence through both the highs and lows of their health journeys, treating each patient like family.
Outside of work, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and their many pets. The family loves camping, using it as a way to bond, explore nature and discover new places together.
