Biography
Vickie VanDeventer is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Master of Science degree with a major in nursing at Ball State University in 2009 and a Master in Public Health from Indiana University in 2006. Vickie has been a nurse for more than 30 years, most of which were spent at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Here, Vickie provided direct patient care, served as a nurse manager, provided oversight to the hospital’s infection prevention program, and led the hospital’s Emergency Management team.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, and daughters, Jennifer and Nicole, and is a member of the American Dairy Goat Association.
