Biography
A native of Holland, Indiana, he went to medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis after finishing a degree in Biochemistry at IU Bloomington. He then did a family medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Birmingham, Alabama. He began practicing in Bloomington 10 years ago after finishing his Sports Medicine Fellowship.
He is board certified in family medicine with a certificate of added qualification in primary care sports medicine. Not only does he take care of patients in the office but is also a team physician for Bloomington High School North and Indiana University Athletics. His wife Sarah Jane is a practicing Psychologist in Bloomington and he has two children, Cora and Grant.
