As a regional hub for Indiana’s largest healthcare organization and in association with the state’s only medical school, we provide excellence in education and research for our healthcare providers.

IU Health Arnett has been a member of the Lafayette community since 1922, when it existed as Arnett-Crockett clinic, one of the first multispecialty clinics in the nation. Since then, IU Health Arnett has grown to include over 40 specialties, 23 outpatient clinics and a 191-bed hospital.
IU health Arnett is a full-service, acute care hospital providing all medical needs in one facility:
- 191 standardized, private hospital patient rooms
- Mother/baby and NICU suites with full bathrooms and room service so both parents can stay comfortably with their baby
- Window and work area with a computer outside each patient room so providers can chart and observe patients without disturbing them
- Each emergency department exam room features a toilet for convenience, privacy and infection control
- Four specially designed rooms for the comfort and treatment of bariatric patients
- Wi-Fi throughout the entire hospital
- A fully electronic medical record system that allows seamless linkage with all Indiana University Health partners
- 12 technologically-advanced surgical suites with open heart and neurosurgical capabilities
- 2 C-section suites conveniently located adjacent to labor and delivery rooms
- On-site diagnostics, radiology and lab
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, also a designated Riley Hospital for Children NICU
- Dedicated oncology unit
- 24/7 hospitalist program provides constant physician care
