IMACS/IU Health On-Call - Make a Referral
Physicians around the state have always been able to contact IU Health to consult with, and when appropriate, refer to one of IU Health's specialists.
IMACS OneCall provides referring physicians one single telephone number to call to consult with and refer to the best IU Health specialist for their needs. Most doctors who call already know who they would like to talk to; when they don't, they are asked a series of questions about their preferences and the appropriate connection is made based on those answers.
IU Health On-Call is the consumer referral line - 800.265.3220. New Indianapolis residents and others looking for a doctor or specialist can call to receive a referral. Referrals are made based upon consumer preferences.
All IU Health active medical staff are automatically included in the IMACS OneCall physician-to-physician referral service and may also elect to participate in the IU Health On-Call consumer referral service.
Active medical staff or their office staff can email IMACSMDInfo@iuhealth.org for enrollment forms or to request updates to their referral profile.
