Parking Instructions

Patients may be dropped off or picked up at IU Health Saxony Hospital’s main entrance or as directed on the pre-visit information from your doctor’s office.

Parking at IU Health Saxony Hospital is free, with parking lots and entrances conveniently located to help patients and visitors get to their destinations quickly.

The IU Health Saxony guest relations team members at the Information Desk are happy to help you and answer any questions. They also have wheelchairs if you need to use one.

Visitor Information

Our healthcare team understands that having family and friends around is important to the healing process. Your family is welcome anytime, but we do ask guests to follow the following guidelines:

When Can Guests Visit?

Regular visiting hours are 8 am to 9 pm daily. When visiting hours end, an overhead announcement will signal that all visitors should leave for the day and return the next day, if desired.

Patients may designate up to two people to serve as their “Primary Support.” These visitors may arrange with the care team for after-hours visitation as necessary and appropriate. Primary Support visitors must obtain a sticker badge from unit staff and wear it for after-hours identification in the hospital.

Can Children Visit?

Children under 18 may visit during regular visiting hours when accompanied by an adult, unless seasonal or special restrictions are in place. Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult and cannot be left unattended.

If Someone is Sick, Can They Visit?

For your protection, people should not visit if they are sick, especially if they have a sore throat, cold or fever.

Tell Us About Your Experience

Listening to our patients and their families helps us understand their experiences at IU Health hospitals so we can serve them even better. We encourage patients and their families to take a moment to provide feedback and suggestions for how we could improve our service.
