Biography
Dr. Kevin J. Miller, MD is a primary care sports medicine physician for IU Health. He grew up in Bloomington where he played football and baseball for Bloomington South. He then attended Ball State University where he studied athletic training.
He underwent his medical training at Indiana University School of Medicine and was a Family Medicine resident at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. After completing residency, Dr. Miller completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at St. Vincent Sports Performance where he trained in non-operative sports medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
He is currently the team physician for Indiana University Field Hockey and Wrestling along with all sports at Eastern Greene High School and Owen Valley High School. He has previously covered Butler University, Marian University, NCAA women’s Final Four, NCAA swimming and diving championships and the Big Ten basketball Tournament.
Dr. Miller is board certified in family medicine and primary care sports medicine, is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, and serves on the executive board for the Monroe-Owen County Medical Society.
