IU Health is doing more to take care of people and their families beyond our walls. We are committed to improving the health and well-being of the whole community we serve in Marion County.

We invest in local, nonprofit community and healthcare organizations that address priority health needs and conditions impacting the health of Marion County residents. These needs and conditions were identified through the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and will remain our focus from 2019-2020.
- Access to Healthcare Services
- Behavioral Health (i.e. mental health and drug and substance abuse - including opioids)
- Maternal and Infant Health
- Obesity and Diabetes
- Smoking, Tobacco Use and Exposure to Secondhand Smoke
- Social Determinants of Health - Specifically Poverty, Homelessness, Transportation and Access to Healthy Foods
- Violence and Injuries
For the 2020 community benefit grant, we will only review grant proposals from applicants who have received a letter of invitation from Community Outreach and Engagement.
Use our online submission system to complete an online application. This is the only way we will accept proposals.
At this time, Community Outreach and Engagement does not accept sponsorship requests.
