Volunteer Services at Indiana University Health West Hospital began in March 2005 with only 14 volunteers. Since that time, IU Health West Hospital has expanded the program greatly, with volunteers working in many different departments throughout the hospital, including:

All interested candidates must complete an application and interview with a volunteer manager, as well as complete a health screening, background check and attend a unique orientation program tailored specifically to volunteers.
Every effort is made to identify your special interests and talents during the interview process, and a volunteer manager works to assign you to a department within the hospital in which you might find the most enjoyable, rewarding experience.
